I am not sure about this yet. I did plug it in my car and I don't feel like there is a problem. However I did notice the red light was still lit as charging, even when I pulled it out from my cigarette lighter port...maybe that is a good thing? I do like the fact the plugin port is compatible with wall/pc charger...a big plus!
